"The Preachers chiefly shall take heed that they teach nothing in their preaching, which they would have the people religiously to observe and believe, but that which is agreeable to the Doctrine of the Old Testament and the New, and that which the Catholick Fathers and Ancient Bishops have gathered out of that Doctrine." A proposed canon of Elizabeth I, 1571

Mass of Collegiality

The photograph above depicts the Rt. Rev. Jack Leo Iker consecrating the elements yesterday at St. Vincent's Cathedral during the annual Mass of Collegiality, at which our diocesan clergy renew their ordination vows. The entire body of priests in our diocese joined the bishop as concelebrants at the altar. Please watch this space for a link to the bishop's sermon, when it becomes available.
