"The Preachers chiefly shall take heed that they teach nothing in their preaching, which they would have the people religiously to observe and believe, but that which is agreeable to the Doctrine of the Old Testament and the New, and that which the Catholick Fathers and Ancient Bishops have gathered out of that Doctrine." Thanks be to God, and thanks to you all for your prayers. I have just returned from the second day of canonical exams. Chuck Hough and I both passed all of our exams. (I have no information on the third candidate.) Thanks again to you all, and to all the priests of our diocese who have helped us along our path.

Congrats. I am nearing completion of the GOEs, so I can sympathize.

Well done, Randall! You are going to be a tremendous asset to the clergy and people of the Diocese of Fort Worth. It was a pleasure giving you your Liturgical Examination.

Thanks, Father Stainbrook. It was a challenging--but educational--experience. I shall endeavor to lay hands upon the liturgical and penitential books that you recommended.

And thanks to all who have extended their congratulations in recent days. I am grateful to have received so much support from so many. God bless
