"The Preachers chiefly shall take heed that they teach nothing in their preaching, which they would have the people religiously to observe and believe, but that which is agreeable to the Doctrine of the Old Testament and the New, and that which the Catholick Fathers and Ancient Bishops have gathered out of that Doctrine." A proposed canon of Elizabeth I, 1571

Thursday Night Class Raps Up for the Fall

Tonight we finished up our Fall Thursday night class at St. Vincent's Cathedral. We have covered the Apostolic Fathers over the last ten weeks, and it was a great deal of fun. Thanks to all who participated.

My next Thursday night class will begin after the Christmas holiday on the evening following the feast of Epiphany. The new class will focus on the thought of St. Augustin of Hippo, with special attention to The Confessions. This class will start on January 7th at 7:30PM in Middle School classroom 103. If you live in the DFW Metroplex, please consider joining us!
