"The Preachers chiefly shall take heed that they teach nothing in their preaching, which they would have the people religiously to observe and believe, but that which is agreeable to the Doctrine of the Old Testament and the New, and that which the Catholick Fathers and Ancient Bishops have gathered out of that Doctrine." A proposed canon of Elizabeth I, 1571

Bishop Iker on the House of Bishops

My bishop, the Rt. Rev. Jack Leo Iker of Fort Worth, has issued a statement on the recent House of Bishops' "covenant." It may be found here . It is so refreshing to read a statement by a high-ranking ecclesiastic that speaks truthfully and plainly!

I agree. The ECUSA Leader is following whose teachings?

The Bible explaines is clear enough for me to understand that this is not what God wants.
