"The Preachers chiefly shall take heed that they teach nothing in their preaching, which they would have the people religiously to observe and believe, but that which is agreeable to the Doctrine of the Old Testament and the New, and that which the Catholick Fathers and Ancient Bishops have gathered out of that Doctrine." Greetings from Bedford

I want to thank all readers of my blog who have lifted up my health in their prayers over the last three weeks. It has been a long run of illness, but I am finally feeling better. Tomorrow I will return to my duties during Sunday worship at St. Vincent's and resume my Sunday school teaching at St. Laurence later in the morning. Thanks be to God.

The image above was taken by my father this evening at a park near my home. A beautiful day.

Greetings Mr. Foster,

I would just like to commend you on your excellent blog. Your words have helped inspire me to commit to the Anglican faith. I was once hopelessly lost between being Baptist or Roman Catholic! What may seem mundane reports to one may appear as divine inspiration to another. The Middle Way is truly the Way of God as King Charles said.

I too pray your healing may be swift. Praise be to God!
