I am a presbyter in the diocese of Fort Worth, Texas (Anglican Church in North America). I serve as Chaplain at St. Vincent's School and as a canon of St. Vincent's Cathedral Church in Bedford, Texas. In addition to my parish duties and teaching Religion classes in the school I am also the Middle School Social Studies teacher.
There is a story about one of my talented middle school students in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram today:Colleyville's mayor Tuesday wore a pleated skirt, white knee socks and braces. But don't call her a kid. After all, she is 13.
Kathryn Cotton -- an eighth-grader at St. Vincent's Cathedral School in Bedford -- won the city's essay contest and was named mayor for an entire day.
