It's raining!!!

Those of you who don't live in North Texas won't comprehend my enthusiasm for a good soaking rain, but for those to whom it has been given to dwell here no explanation is necessary.
Glory to God in the highest!

"The Preachers chiefly shall take heed that they teach nothing in their preaching, which they would have the people religiously to observe and believe, but that which is agreeable to the Doctrine of the Old Testament and the New, and that which the Catholick Fathers and Ancient Bishops have gathered out of that Doctrine." A proposed canon of Elizabeth I, 1571
I am a presbyter in the diocese of Fort Worth, Texas (Anglican Church in North America). I serve as Chaplain at St. Vincent's School and as a canon of St. Vincent's Cathedral Church in Bedford, Texas. In addition to my parish duties and teaching Religion classes in the school I am also the Middle School Social Studies teacher.

Wow! And can you believe they got only a "trace" at DFW Airport? What a difference six miles can make!
From the point of view of rain, it has been a great last few days. Down near Joshua, Texas where I live we have only had about 3 or so inches to date. I still thank God that he has had some mercy on us. The meterologists say He is stirring up an El Nino which may give Texas a wet Fall.
